Quick Overview

Set up time: 10 to 15 minutes. Inspired by the creation of a flawless flow of water. Keeping Africans is great, but everyone soon realizes that water quality soon goes haywire. It's hard maintaining water quality when your stock of fish is numerous. The solution is to mount a small overflow box and install 2 bulkheads for your wet dry filter. I have sold a trial basis of 55 of these on Ebay and now will sell them here.

So what is the deal how do you set this up? You must understand how easy it is to drill an aquarium. I didn't know how to drill glass until I started to sell diamond glass drill bits. I drilled some holes and let me reasure you don't have anything to fear. It's easy and when your done your going to say he's right. Here is a video:

To set this up

1. Position your box where you want it. Your water line will be approx 1/8" to 1/4 above the teeth when in operation. Place the pattern on the inside of the aquarium and tape in place.

2. Start drill at a 45degree angle for about 20 seconds cutting glass and then slowly move upright at 90 degrees. Ease up at the end of the cut to prevent chipping. Let the hole saw cut the glass and don't apply too much preasure.

3. Clamp box in place or mark with a marker. Cut the box out same as the glass. You can cut it clamped in place or free hand after you mark the box.

4. Clean the box and the glass hole. Take either Vaseline or silicone and lubricate/coat the bulkhead gasket. Put the box in place and put the bulkhead threads through the glass and the box holes. Place the gasket on the threads of the bulkhead. Thread the nut snug and then turn the PVC pipe 1/4turn more.

Box measures 6-3/4"x2.5"x5.5"
