I've been into aquariums for about 30 years, since I was a little kid trying to build up my system and figure out how to keep my fish alive.  Sometime with success, sometimes not, but I spent a ton of time in fish stores/aquarium supply places asking questions, trying things out and just plugging along.  

About 4 years ago I decided to try out Texas Holey Rock in my own aquarium, and fell in love with the look of it.  Being that I live in Texas, I decided to go ahead and start selling it myself.  This, of course, blossomed into more an more products as I came in touch with more customers who needed more and various aquarium related supplies.

For example, I started in diamond drill bits because as I worked on the design of our proprietary overflow boxes.  I saw that the existing overflow boxes could be improved on with a little tweaking.  With my professional experience (over 7 years experience in plastics fabrication), I knew I could create a better product.  In one of our products, a glass hole saw is needed, and the best thing for that is diamond coated drill bits.  I got in touch with a reputable manufacturer in order to sell my overflow kits and soon discovered that there are lots of other people out there who need diamond drill bits of all sizes.
